it's with a heavy heart that i share the news that chicago's gaming community has lost a member. brandon kutka, one of the owners of black sun games, has passed away due to complications from leukemia.
i didn't know brandon half as well as some others, but i have a warm fondness for him and a great deal of respect due to his previous military service. there were afternoons when we would sometimes sit around swapping crazy stories from our army days; laughing at some of the absurdities we had seen.
brandon was always sincerely interested in his customers and had a great vision for the chicago hobby community.
needless-to-say, he will be missed.
